Making A History

I'm Emily, the youngest daughter of Brian and Roseanne. I have spent nearly 30 years as their daughter and I feel like I know only 75% of who they are. I know they fell in love in the late 1970s when they looked like a Singer Songwriter duet and they raised 4 kids with a lot of love. I also know that their love continues to grow with each new grand baby that enters their lives but what I don't know is..

-What were my parents like as kids?
-What did they want to be when they grew up?
-What were some of the hardest moments they faced when raising little kids?
-Has life turned out as they imagined?
-How have they managed to stay in love?

I have so many questions for them and I wanted to create a place where all my family could learn the other 25% of my parents' lives.

Each week I will send my parents a prompt with a question about their life and then I will post their responses. My hope is that this blog captures my parents' 60+ years of experiences and will be a source of hope, comfort and love to all who read.
